National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Exam JEE Main 2021 in two sessions, in January 2021 and April 2021 (Tentatively). NTA Director Vineet Joshi said, as the schools and Colleges reopened lately this year due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the registrations are already having a delay. JEE Main 2021 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2021 is a gateway to get admission in India’s top most reputed Institutes like IITs, NITs and IIITs, for Engineering Undergraduate Courses. The important eligibility norms for applying in JEE 2021 are given below. Candidates must read this carefully before applying.

Educational Qualification for JEE Main: The minimum qualification is Intermediate (12th) passed from any recognized board or university. Apart from this, see the table for detailed qualification for applying in various UG courses.

B. Tech12th with 5 subjects, among which Physics & Mathematics as compulsory as main subjects

Any one from Biology / Biotechnology and Chemistry as Technical vocational Subject.

B. Arch12th with Minimum 50% Passing Marks with

Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as their mandatory subjects.

B. Planning12th with Mathematics as mandatory subject.
  1. Age limit: There is No age limit to apply for JEE Main 2021.
  2. Passing Year: Candidates who have passed their intermediate exam (12th) in year 2019 or 2020 will be eligible to apply. Those who are appearing 12th in 2021 will be also eligible to apply for JEE Main 2021.
  3. Number of attempts: Candidates can appear for JEE Main for 3 consecutive years. (as two attempts in same year will be considered as one)
