NEET 2020 results live update: National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to announce the result of NEET-UG 2020, one of the highest competitive exam of India, today on 16 October 2020. As per the officials, the result will be declared on the official website only, no personal E-mail or post will be sent to the candidates. The result can be download within 90 days from the date of declaration. Earlier NTA has conducted re-exam for those students who missed the scheduled date (13 September 2020), due to COVID-19. As per the Supreme Court decision, NTA arranged NEET 2020 Phase-2 exam for them on 14 October 2020. The first information about the NEET 2020 Result was seen on the twitter, as Union Cabinet Minister for Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank wrote, “@DG_NTA will be declaring the Results of #NEETUG 2020 on 16th October 2020. The exact timing of the results will be intimated later. I wish all the best to the candidates.”

NEET 2020 Results live Update:

The NEET-UG 2020 exam was supposed to be held on 3 May 2020 originally, but due to worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, it was re-scheduled to 26 July, and later pushed for 13 September. According to the figures, more than 13 lakh out of 15.97 lakh students appeared for the NEET-UG 2020 exam held on 13 September 2020 and 14 October 2020. This figure stands 85-90% which is a large extent in comparison of previous years. NTA officials have released a notice about the result declaration date just before Phase-2 exam. They confirmed that the result will be declared jointly for both exams on the same day. Meanwhile, NTA might announce the Final answer Key for NEET-UG 2020 along with exam results. However, they have released the provisional answer key and NEET OMR sheets already. Candidates can check the final answer key for all sets, (E1-E6, F1-F6, G1-G6 and H1-H6) once released.

NEET Ranks 2020

NTA would also release the NEET 2020 rank list for All India Quota along with the result. NTA will share the state-wise merit list with the authorities, DG of Health Services and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, who will conduct the counselling.

NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET, to qualify for MBBS/BSD. Relaxation will be given as per the Govt. rules accordingly to the reserve categories.
