There are two students who clinched the Exam with a perfect tonne. Soyeb Aftab from Odisha scored 720 marks and Climbed up on the top of All India Rank. While Akanksha Singh from Delhi has become the Female Topper and scored a perfect 720 also, but she stands on AIR-2 as per the Tie Breaker Policy of NTA.
After releasing of provisional Answer key, Allen Kota Institute had already claimed this before the result is out that one of their student Soyeb Aftab has scored a perfect 720 in NEET 2020 exam. Originally a resident of Rourkela Odisha, Soyeb was coaching in KOTA for the last two years. He score a perfect 720 and set a unique record in NEET history. Soyeb comes from a middle-class family, as his father owns a small business. ‘My father extended all the financial support for me to achieve this goal, but it was my mother who spends her maximum time supporting me in my studies. She and my sister came along with me to Kota two years back and they have made all arrangements to me for NEET exam preparation.
Akanksha Singh created history by becoming the first girl from rural Purvanchal, who cracked NEET. Her inspiring journey will definitely encourage many future aspirants. Akanksha comes from a small village Abhinayakpur, District Kushinagar U.P. She started her journey to become a doctor with Akash Institute in her class 9 and 10. Akanksha used to travel 70 KM daily from her village to the institute, situated in Gorakhpur. Then she came to Delhi Branch for class 11 and 12. His father is an ex-serviceman of the Indian Air Force. Akanksha became the only female student to achieve perfect 720 score. She also is the state topper from Uttar Pradesh.

NEET 2020 Tie Breaker Policy
However, Soyeb and Akanksha scored same yet Soyeb got benefit of the Tiebreaker Policy. According to the policy in case of same marks, preference is given to marks in biology, followed by chemistry. And if it is still a tie, the student who is older in age given preference. As Soyeb is a fewer month older than Akanksha, he reserved All India Rank-1 and Akanksha stands on AIR-2.
