SRMJEEE 2021 Exam: Dates, Application Form, Exam Pattern and Admission process

SRMJEEE 2021 Exam:

SRMJEEE 2021 Exam: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination, conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to BTech programmes, acts as a common entrance exam for all SRM Group institutes and universities. SRMJEEE 2021 application form has been released by the SRMIST online on December 12, 2020. To apply for SRMJEEE 2021, candidates will have to visit the official website of SRM University. SRMIST has announced the dates for the exam, counselling and result announcement.

SRMJEEE 2021 Exam Pattern

SRMJEEE 2021 exam pattern will be announced by the SRMIST, with the release of the application form. The exam will have three sections which include – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.  According to the prescribed syllabus for the entrance test, the exam will be conducted. SRM institute shall release the basis of questions that are supposed to be asked in the entrance test. SRMJEEE 2021 exam will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes and shall be an online (computer-based) test, It consists of 125 questions in total which will be distributed under different sections.

 

SRMJEEE 2021 Admission Process

Step-1: To Fill SRMJEEE(UG) Application Form

Candidates have to fill the SRMJEEE (UG) application form in the online mode on the official website of SRM Institute of Science & Technology. Along with the submission of the application form, candidates also have to submit the SRMJEEE (UG) 2021 application fee through internet banking/credit card/debit card. Candidates have the option to fill the application form offline. Candidates can obtain offline/ OMR application form from the respective post offices.

 

Candidates will have to upload the scanned photographs, signature, and other required documents while filling the SRMJEEE 2021 Application Form. Candidates must take a printout of the SRMJEEE 2021 Application Form from the confirmation page.

Step-2: SRMJEEE (UG) Slot booking

Candidates have to book a slot for SRMJEEE (UG). Students must choose a slot so that no other exam clashes with the booked slot. SRMJEEE 2021 slot booking should be done within the scheduled dates.

 

Step-3: Download of SRMJEEE(UG) Admit Card

Candidates must download their SRMJEEE (UG) admit card. Admit card is mandatory to appear for the exam and the seat allotment process.

 

Step-4: Appear for SRMJEEE(UG)

SRMJEEE 2021 shall be conducted in the third week of April by the college University. The entrance test is conducted once a year to offer admission into the BTech Programmes in the SRM University and its various campuses.

 

Step-5: Checking of SRMJEEE (UG) 2021 Result

SRMJEEE (UG) 2021 result will be announced by the institute on its official website. Candidates qualifying the entrance exam will be called for the counselling process. Dates for the result will be announced in the first week of May 2021.

 

Step-6: Appearing for SRMJEEE (UG) Counselling

All the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling rounds. Through the process, all candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SRMJEEE 2021

Candidates appearing for SRMJEEE 2021 must carry their respective admit cards to the exam centre. Along with the SRMJEEE admit card, Candidates must carry one valid, state/central government-issued photo identification card. The documents to be carried are as follows:

  • Aadhaar card
